Hall-effect and Reed Switches

Both Hall-effect switches and reed switches are non-contact devices, reliable, and have a long lifespan, making them popular choices in many different products.

Hall-effect switches are based on the principle of the Hall-effect, where a magnetic field can be used to control the flow of electric current in a semiconductor material.

Reed switches, on the other hand, use a magnetic field to physically make or break a connection, and are commonly used in applications such as proximity sensing, level sensing, and security systems.
