Piher Sensing Systems provides robust, contactless sensors that are used to measure rotational and linear displacement in on-board equipment or ground service systems. Although most of our sensors are not specifically designed for aerospace applications, we can support complex new developments with our expertise in position sensing technologies.
Our rugged sensors of the PST, MTS and PSC series series as well as our miniature MSC-360 and MTS-360 sensors provide reliable feedback based on Hall-effect technology. Custom developed sensors based on inductive technology provide accurate feedback in situations when electromagnetic strayfields can be an issue. All our sensors can be customized to fit our customer’s requirements in a range of different applications, such as:
Valve position
Door position
Lever position
Actuator position
Cabin comfort functions
