Two-Piece Non-Contact Angular Position Sensor

The PSCR-2P is a two-piece, non-contact angular position sensor designed for accurate measurement in demanding industrial and vehicle applications. Its separate magnet and sensor modules can be mounted along the pivoting shaft, supporting flexible installation without gears or mechanical linkages.

It offers ±0.3% typical independent linearity, programmable electrical angles from 60° to 360°, and analog or CANopen output protocols. Simple, redundant and fully redundant configurations are available. With IP67 and IP69K sealing, resistance to shock and vibration, and virtually unlimited mechanical life, the PSCR-2P provides reliable position feedback in harsh environments.

Typical applications include steering and pedal position sensing, boom and articulated arm angle measurement, valve and actuator monitoring, suspension and chassis position detection, and control lever feedback in agricultural, construction, material-handling, and industrial equipment.

KEY FEATURES



Without any internal or external gears or linkages the sensor is easily assembled and calibrated and free from wear and tear over lifetime.
The separation of electronics and magnet module allows for a virtually unlimited lifetime independent of number of revolutions.
The rugged package protects the sensor from dust, moisture, vibration and extreme temperatures for usage in the most demanding environments.
Without the need for a shaft the sensor is provided in a exceptionally compact and low profile package that fits in space constraint applications.
